Cross Country Changes Little at Luhmuhlen

Andrew Nicholson and Teseo are the best of the Kiwis in 19th spot, still on their dressage score of 52.1 penalty points, after the cross country at the Luhmuhlen CCI4* in Germany.


Caroline Powell and Sinatra Frank Baby added .4 time penalties to their tally to sit on 54.1 in 23rd spot, and she retired Spice Sensation early on the course.


Bettina Hoy (GER) and Designer 10 held on to their lead to remain on their 36 penalty point dressage score, as did Julia Krajewski (GER) aboard Samourai du Thot in second on 37.1. Lizzie Green’s former horse Bulana sits in third with Nicola Wilson (GBR) on 38.7.


It was the first Mike Etherington-Smith designed cross country course at Luhmuhlen. The showjumping is tomorrow.


In showjumping, Daniel Meech and Trix Trax were 12th in the CSI2* in the 72-strong class in Deauville, France, and eighth aboard Quincy Lady in the 85-strong CSI1*.
