Jesse Campbell grew up enjoying all that is good about equestrian in New Zealand, riding over farmland, beaches, hunting, excelling at Pony Club and college eventing, showjumping, dressage and games.

He attended St Peter’s School in Cambridge and won many awards for his leadership and sport.

His début on the New Zealand eventing high performance accelerator squad in 2011 was followed closely by a win in the CCI under 25-year-old 2* class at Tattersalls in Ireland with Kaapachino.

In the 2007/2008 season, he became the youngest to CIC2* National One Day Championships in New Zealand.

On heading to the UK, Campbell based himself with Andrew Nicholson for 18 months before going out on his own.

In 2013 Campbell represented New Zealand with his New Zealand thoroughbred Kaapachino at the Eventing Nations Cup Championship where they placed ninth. The combination was also fourth in the Blair Castle CCI3*.

2015 saw some strong performances for Campbell with his 4* début at Luhmuhlen (Germany) where they placed 16th. He was part of the team that qualified New Zealand for a position at the Rio Olympics at Boekelo CICO3* and secured a double-win at Millstreet in the CIC3* and CIC2* classes.
