Sharn Wordley left New Zealand at 17 and has since competed in 22 countries across the globe. He’s ridden many a Nation’s Cup competition for New Zealand and was also at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.
For some years he has been living and competing in the United States where he has been very successful at Grand Prix level.
Wordley’s grandmother Margaret Wordley is said to be one of the first women to compete in showjumping in New Zealand, and it was she who encouraged him into the sport.
