Convenor NEC Taupo
After 14 years of outstanding service Wallie is stepping down from this role.
We are now looking for a new Convenor at NEC Taupo to lead the Centre into its next chapter.
The Centre at Taupo has gone through significant upgrades and the aim is for ongoing development to ensure we have world class facilities for our members and their horses.
The Taupo NEC is a busy spot with a full Calendar of bookings across all disciplines, plus some non-equestrian events.
This role will lead a committee of highly dedicated and professional volunteers. The role will also drive and lead the team of employees at the centre.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a significant role in the ongoing development of the ESNZ Strategy that focuses on a “Pony to Podium” approach.
We are looking for expressions of interest for the role from people that have a deep understanding and passion for our sport. Knowledge of Show and Event operation along with involvement of facility operation would be advantageous. As would an understanding of the Equestrian global trends in both venue and event development.
