ESNZ Jumping is seeking expressions of interest from riders who would like to take part in a potential self-funded young rider team, to compete in a Trans-Tasman Young Rider Test, at the upcoming Waratah Show Jumping World Cup, Sydney NSW 16th – 17th August 2024.
Selected riders would be responsible for all flights to Sydney – Australia, transportation during the time in Australia, some meals and personal incidentals.
The Trans-Tasman Young Rider Challenge is an annual event that has traditionally been a gripping battle between the nations, it was last contested in NZ in January 2024 where New Zealand claimed victory.
Event: NZ vs Australia Trans-Tasman Young Rider Test on borrowed horses in an indoor arena.
Where: Sydney Show Jumping World Cup 16th – 17th August 2024.
Team size: A team of 4 riders, plus a Chef d’Equipe
